Ruffled
The wild gales of last night caused lots of damage two of my friends lost their polytunnel plastic, trees were uprooted and branches strewn across the roads.
Today was still very windy but at least the sun was shining and out of the wind positively balmy! Spent some time at lunch break watching this cormorant which was surely the largest of these birds that I'd ever seen! Not just the largest but also the blackest, maybe he's a mature bird. I've also never noticed that they have blue eyes or maybe its just this one. I love the way the wind was ruffling his feathers.
