RAF Langham

M asked me take a photo of the Langham Dome now that it's had a new coat of paint (see extra).  While I was there I also took this photo of the RAF Langham Airfield.

The airfield was operational from 1940 until the late 1950s.  During the war years there were many courageous missions flown over the North sea  against German convoys.  It eventually closed in the early cold war years and was eventually sold to Bernard Matthews (of turkey fame).

Apart from the Dome (anti-aircraft gunnery trainer) these are the only remaining buildings.
