School visit

I started the day by running a short training/refresher session on how to run class visits. With the end of the restrictions, we can welcome schools in our libraries again but a few members of staff were not very confident.
In the afternoon, I went to see a new school for which I bought a lot of books. It is a beautiful school, with a lot of space, great ideas, and I was delighted to see the library in use with a group of children all engrossed in their book. I asked the children what they thought of the library and they were very complementary. One of the boys said "It's got lots of comics" and showed me the one he was reading. It made my day!
