Odessa

Finally made it here. A drive to south of Moldova, quick and easy border crossing then an hour or so drive to Odessa - all very easy.

There had been a pause in shelling the last day or so, but we’ve had two sirens so far this evening - around 6pm and then 5 minutes ago. We chose a hotel with a solid basement - in this case it happens to be a breakfast room/ restaurant with loos - thank goodness. The Red Cross are also staying they’ve pushed the tables together and are having a picnic, there are a lot worse places to be sheltering.

Now we just need the all clear so I can go to bed.
