Lilac Tree buds

I'm so pleased to see the new buds coming on my Lilac tree... when I bought it last year it was passed the flowering Season, so I'm not sure exactly what it's going to look like. There's also a sense of relief that it weathered the winter. I hope the same can be said of the Lavender bushes as they haven't shown any indication of waking up yet from their winter sleep. Fingers crossed.
