Dinner

As expected, today has largely been taken up with washing and shopping, and this evening quite a long time watering the garden which was bone dry.  On closer inspection we probably lost a couple of grasses and one allium while we were away, and a few more alliums that are in bloom have withered foliage so will probably not regrow their bulbs but that's fine as I can replace them.  I didn't have any photo opportunities so whilst I'm not normally a food blogger, here's the dinner I quickly knocked up this evening; scallops served on a pea puree and pea, bacon, broad bean and lettuce fricassee.  You have to make do when you're busy.
