Churchyard flowers
I mentioned that most of our plants had survived the drought while we were away. Unfortunately, so did the weeds; thankfully being a newly planted garden the weeds are presently all seedlings but they take a long time to dispose of. I hoed the whole garden after we got home but there were still lots left; thankfully the rain didn't reach us until well after 5pm so I got quite a lot done. Very glad of the rain though; the garden needs it.
We had a bit of a break with a walk into town this afternoon, going through the churchyard on the way back. It always looks good with seasonal flowers; we've had snowdrops, daffodils, tulips, and now there is a sea of cow parsley right across. It looks lovely.
