Winding Up & Down

Thursday Gang, with holidays and illness only three of us turned up this morning but we were joined by Huw just before lunch. The season is over, the club internally stands kind of forlorn, untidy with rubbish on the floor and tables, externally we litter picked and tidied up, there’s not much else we can do at present.
I walked Paddy and then showered and changed into a blazer & tie ensemble to attend the Penryn Mayor Making, I receive invitations to three, Falmouth, Penryn and Truro, it marks the start of the ‘formal’ year, charity dinners, end of season dinner, etc and added to the mix this year are the extra functions for the Platinum Jubilee weekend.
Home, tired, to read for a bit over a mug of hot chocolate before bed.
