A quick home grown blip today, as we're off to Manchester this afternoon to see Ludovico Einaudi at the Bridgewater Hall this evening.

I had promised some shots of my own attempts at stone sculpture before, so he's one of them. It's the first time I've had a good look round the garden this Spring (can I say that now, or will it just jinx the weather??)

I love sculpture, so had fun when I had a go myself - but it's really hard work - my arms and hands were very sore at the end of the day. I haven't done any for a couple of years, but will definitely try it again.

The garden need some real attention - and no that's not weeds in the background - a very prolific plant that will have lots of lovely blue flowers soon - just can't remember what it's called??
