Luddenden to Mytholmroyd

Slept well, woke up a few times but soon went back to sleep and finally opened my eyes just after 8am.
Out of Tim’s house and did my quick ten minutes, actually did a bit more because the little streets of Luddenden are so interesting.
Was going to blip The Lord Nelson ( the pub used in Gentleman Jack) but it was covered in scaffolding so that is for another time.
Had a cooked breakfast made by Adele and three cups of coffee over the morning, then no coffee after midday. Went in the hot tub and listened to Desert Island Discs it was quite sunny and l needed my sunglasses.
Then the sun disappeared and we decided to walk to Mytholmroyd  ( about two miles away) and have a beer at Barbary’s.
Only one of our favourite beers there (Diya) so we ended up having two and we sat out side .
Peggy was well behaved and enjoyed the walk too.
The walk back seemed shorter ( always feels like that don’t you think?) and we just avoided the threatening rain. 
Back to watch the MTB World Cup cycling and at the same time keeping track of the football results.
Adele is making dinner and l’m doing my blip.
