Spring has sprung

Today i had a bit of an impromptu afternoon out to accompany my friend to pick up a new Nikon lens. After stopping at a pub for a delicious homemade carrot and coriander soup we had a wander round the grounds of an old hall and church with our cameras where we saw daffodils and primroses and a rather gruesome discovery of a dead mole pinned to the railings apparently to keep the foxes away!! Anyway, i confess i did take a picture but thought i'd spare you that one and instead show you the new growth appearing on the branches.
Time now to go and get ready for another Spice night out, this time with my good friend koko, where we're off to a barn dance which should be hilarious. There's a BBQ and a live band called Fiddler's Elbow to jig about to. Can't wait. :-)
