Lunchtime bench

As it was so nice and warm today, I walked over to the Harris Garden at lunchtime to sit and eat my sandwiches. This bench looked like it was being taken over by weeds but most of the gardens looked beautiful, with great swathes of wild flowers in the long grass and borders full of perennials about to burst into their summer clothes. A lovely calm oasis in a busy day.

The bench said 2000 but I didn’t have room to walk back far enough to get the whole thing in, so you’ve just got 20!
