Life is a Bitch sometimes

We left the cottage just before 10 this morning & cracked on to Bristol before stopping for lunch for about 40 minutes. Hacked on up the M5 / M4 / A34 & walked in the door at 3.15.
Unloaded the car got caught up with the post & of course Merlot then walked in the lounge.
This is what greeted Carol. Water dripping out of the light fitting onto the table / carpet. What a mess !

Called British Gas who have found & stopped the leak.
Unfortunately the ceiling is full of water so the next step will be to call the insurance company & move the rest of the furniture.

Not exactly the perfect end to a perfect week
