In the Cool

Our prayer walking day, it was good, but oh, so hot, and lovely to retreat into the cool interior of Morango Bar - here is Mike paying on the way out. Some good chats with people, there's a lovely air of optimism in folk these days, and tourists all over the place.

An extra looking down from the castle to our Land, and across the Lake to Monsaraz - look at all the contrails and how yellow the grass has gone.

Gratefuls:
- Paul and Sam driving up to Manchester in a hired van with some bits of furniture to help Julia and Tom move into their new house
- the beauty of early morning light; got up early for Mike to spray concentrated garlic on the peach and nectarine trees
- getting our monthy update written

...and loads more sweet peas! Shame we'll be away the next few days.
