Aquilegia

This is the first time I have use aquilegia as cut flowers.  These have been in the house since early May and started as tight dark buds.  They have opened into a variety of colours, but today I suddenly realised that they have also slowly been changing from downward facing buds to upward facing seed pods.  Plants are amazing, aren't they.
No allotment today too much marking and a tutorial this evening too. Must go and do some watering tomorrow.
