Watering, mowing and not much else
A quick trip in the evening to do some tidying up. I mowed around the plot (a must do as we are responsible for the paths surrounding our plots) and up and down the grass paths I have on the plot.
Going right to left, the chives are now flowering, the rhubarb is still growing, but spindly at the moment - needs more food and water I think. Then the beginnings of the red-flowered broad beans, where there is just enough flower showing to see the colour and finally, in case you are too impressed with my allotment, a shot across the centre, where you can see how well the nettles and grass are growing in the centre of the plot. The marking season is getting into full swing and the weeds are making the most of it, but I'm considering splashing out on a strimmer.
