Does bad luck come in threes?

The times I’ve banged my head on this heavy ceramic lampshade but Frank did it proper today! It hung over the dining table but when the table leaf was down there was nothing to stop you walking into it.
He loved the lamp but I wasn’t keen on it and have been saying for while that I’d like a different one but he was resisting. Ooops - now we’ll have to!
So that’s 3 mishaps in a week - my fall, my damaged phone and now the lamp!

It’s been a satisfying day, finishing things off that needed doing, pottering about, sitting in the lovely sunshine.
Frank potted on the chilli seedlings he grew from seeds, and also split the orchid into six plants. We’ll give the extras away. 

Then I went to ballet and tap tonight which was really good.

How to Get a New Lamp!

Oh no! Frank - the lampshade!
I said it was hanging too low
I’ve walked into it myself before
I never really liked it as you know
and after I’d decorated, well
it didn’t really go with my decor
I wouldn’t have wanted you get hurt 
but now half of it is on the floor. 
Now, let me check that wound 
and clean your bleeding head.
You know we’ll need to go shopping
to find a different lamp instead.
