Art in Nature

We took Bertie for a short drive in the car over to Calgary and he made it there (AND the return journey home) without being sick. This seems like progress, or is it just a one-off? It was rather breezy so instead of walking on the beach we decided to do the Art in Nature walk where we were sheltered by the magnificent beech trees (first extra). There is always something different to see here whenever we visit. We noticed that one of the early sculptures, a beautifully carved tree trunk, had rotted and fallen over, yet there was still a certain beauty in the rotting wood with a suggestion of the carving still visible. Bertie seemed to really enjoy his different walk (second extra) and I hope he felt it was worth the drive along the twisting road.
