The Stanford Cinema

This afternoon I went for a nice long walk around the Stanford Campus and downtown Palo Alto to get my bearings.

I took quite a few photos I liked, but this is my favourite because it's so unusual - a cinema showing really old films! I'm definitely going to have to try that out while I'm here.

I start my "externship" with Sun Microsystems (soon to be part of Oracle) tomorrow so that should be exciting... I have no idea what to expect as it's in a part of the business that is quite different from things I have done before although it's great because I get to learn new stuff!
