Yesterday I found a few garden pests like green and black fly, slugs, vine weevil grubs, a lily beetle and three very beautiful rosemary beetles.  They ended up in the garden bin where they can enjoy some life among the garden weeds and clippings etc before the bin collection.  But some little bugs and insects are welcome and we have a small “insect hotel” to shelter the many beneficial insects like hoverflies, bees and ladybirds.  It is tiny compared with this huge hotel which seemed to have a few inhabitants and even a hedgehog shelter.
