Abrams Falls

Dee took this photo of me at the falls which was our hike today.  It was hot and we kept saying we should not have hiked five miles round trip. But we are rested up, clean and having a celebration drink!

This trail is off the Cades Cove Loop road in Smoky Mountain National Park.  As we drove this road we saw a mama BEAR and THREE CUBS!   So excited!  I had the SX60 in the car so we stopped to take photos. I will load them tomorrow when I get up. I used a fence post for a tripod so hoping they are clearer.  She was not very close but we were thrilled to see them.  We also saw one female elk as we drove through the park.
