Tiger, Tiger

Those who know me know that I'm a sucker for a good textile.  

And they don't come much better than this.  It's one of those stunning Chinese embroideries that look exactly the same from both sides. 

Back in the good old days when we visited Hong Kong a lot, they always had them for sales in the Chinese Handicrafts shop next to the ferry terminal.

I lusted after one then, and I lust after one now.  I'll watch the auction, but I doubt very much that I'll buy it - I've spent the week's ration on petrol!
