Horse chestnut

On our village green is a magnificent horse chestnut tree. It will almost certainly feature here one day. Covid has suspended many activities but a Breast Cancer charity sponsored run around the green was resurrected by the junior school children and raised much needed money for research into this terrible illness, hence the modest bunting (and pink balloons - not featured). I thought the blossom looked particularly lovely.
