Australia votes

I queued for 1.75 hours to vote today. Too few were staffing the booths due to illness. My main shows the queue behind me at the local school. The voter with the red hair is wearing the opposition Labor party colour. Her tee says 'Albo for PM', Albo being Anthony Albanese, leader of the opposition. Until tonight. This marks the start of the first Labor government since 2013, whether by outright majority or minority.

My extras are: a face in the crowd; kids in their playground; a dog who would have voted for the Animal Justice party, as they would liberate it from its collar.

It may take me a day or two to catch up with you. Need to survive tomorrow's baby shower.
