Bolivian BBQ

Today we went to the Valley of the Moon, just outside La Paz. It was a place with amazing rock formations made by the rain on soft rock, so like a huge hill of stalagmites (?), it kind of looked like a huge termite hill infestation! But it was pretty impressive walking throughthem, although impossible to see the 'sculptures' that they kept on pointing out!

We then went up to Mallassa, where another group of the volunteers are living. They live in a beaaaautiful house, with panoramic views of a huge mountain range across a valley! We were all very jealous, it felt like a holiday location! There we had a big BBQ with everyone from ICE in Bolivia, which was delicious! I think they must have BBQ'ed a whole cow, there was SO MUCH MEAT ! We chilled int he sunshine all afternoon which was really nice! They even have a hot tub pool thing, so we sat with our feet in the water for hours, so nice!

Off to Coroico tomorrow for the weekend!
