Scottish Labour Conference in Inverness

This was taken on the banks of the Ness on day one of the Scottish Labour conference from Inverness.

It was a lovely day - spring has, perhaps, finally sprung - and a great drive north on the A9.

The day itself had some great speeches - from Ed Miliband, from Jim Murphy, from Ken Macintosh and many party members, and some good ideas coming forward from members about what Labour would be doing now.

All in all, a good day of conference, along with great weather, a nice curry, lots of catching up with old friends, a pint or two, and, unfortunately, a parking ticket. Not bad for one wee day in the capital of the highlands!
