This Way For Pandora & More, Maidstone

Yesterday was just a recovery day as I was so tired. I think it may be the last traces of Covid, as now when I get to the end of the week I feel absolutely pulverised with exhaustion.
This morning it was up early for a run along by the river and I really did feel the benefit, especially as it was such a beautiful start to the day. Being near flowing water and surrounded by trees really does help calm me down and relax my whirring  brain.
As usual it was the weekly shop with my brother, followed by a drink at our favourite pub in Maidstone (where we sat outside on the roof terrace drinking our cold beers). Fremlin Walk is the main shopping centre in town and somewhere, when the light is right, to capture an image. With today's main image I just really loved the juxtaposition between the woman sipping her drink in the warm sunshine and the advertising hoarding in the background - it certainly wasn't a day for woolly hats!
The extra just shows a different view of the same scene. Both were one off shots (hence the imperfections) as, for some reason, the security guards are often very impolite if they see you taking photographs even though you are perfectly entitled to do so as it is a public space.
