Morning crazy

I got a lovely call this morning from her. We chatted lots just in phone call mode. She ran away part way through to get her piano music and came back to play to me. Right before we hung up, we switched to video for a couple of minutes and I got to see the crazy. We talk rather than video call most, it's a mixture of the fact that their WiFi is so awful and that video is harder sometimes for her, but when we can, we try end with a little bit just to "see faces".

She'd been out with the rest of the house for a walk first thing. She was quite pleased that they have a Sunday off from evening Cathedral. Church, she loves. Boarders' Cathedral, not so much. Who wants to put their school uniform on of a Sunday evening for a start...!

A friend visited their kiddo today and said they spotted a very bouncy Katie running home from supper this evening. All seemed well, despite the fact she's stressing about the exam week ahead. Exam week means all music lessons are cancelled, and most ensembles, but her timetable does mean she has at least one practice time in the middle of the school day this week, as well as being able to do all her EMP because there's no ensembles. So that's an upside at least.
