My Very First

Blip meet. What a blessed Sunday we have had. We were out of bed before 7:00 am. Hubby made more hash and eggs; I stayed with Danish and fresh fruit. We had an incident with the truck on our way home yesterday so he checked the fluid levels in all the vehicles and researched how to flush/refill vehicle coolant. He’s decided we’ll pay the price to have it done; too hard for DIY. I washed up a few dishes and then we were free to relax-unheard of. We were supposed to watch Brook’s soccer game but it was cancelled. I’d made arrangements to meet “WV girl” there so we decided instead to go to lunch at a nearby Mexican restaurant. Folks who know me understand that I am NOT outgoing and was a wreck but the minute we met in the lobby, I felt quite comfortable. We certainly did not lack in things to talk about. Having gotten to know each other through blip gave us a lot of background info. Lunch was tasty and very filling. I am thrilled with the experience and expect to keep in touch. I met hubby at the Toyota dealer where he left the truck. Hopefully, the problem is minor. We grabbed a few groceries and completely forgot the rotisserie chicken we planned for dinner. Luckily we really do not need dinner. Great news: his incubation period is over and his COVID test was negative. Will be pleased to sleep in my bed again. We’ll end the day as it began, with Kindles open and our feet up. Sure hope your weekend was as rewarding. Thanks for stopping by and especially for all your kind comments on Sky yesterday.
