Business and pleasure

The poor provision of public transport and the cost of taxis locally means that I rarely get out for a drink with my colleague, Steve; I live in Kirkby Lonsdale and he lives just outside Kendal.

However, Abi offered to run Steve home later on, so this afternoon he came over to Kirkby. Ostensibly, we were meeting to talk a bit of business strategy, one of our primary concerns being the lack of decent coding talent that we might recruit.

But, of course, having worked together for nearly eighteen years, and having become fast friends during that time, we found plenty of other things to discuss.
