The tub of alliums I planted last autumn have just started flowering. Most of them are big globes full of tiny florets but this one didn’t have so many, and it’s a lovely colour against the sky. We went into Leicester today to the food market for cheese, fruit, veg, and some tasty sausages from one of our favourite stalls. I was hoping to take some pictures of the ‘Bring the Paint’ street art being done in Leicester this week but by the time we’d bought everything, and it was heavy, we didn’t fancy walking round with it, so that’ll be another day.
