Derwentwater Marina

Sue Middleton and Dave asked us over to their beautiful house and Marina on Derwentwater this evening for a paddle and a barbecue. I’m sure Sue will blip our inexpert efforts at canoeing. But I didn’t dare get my phone out for a photo while we were actually moving! So this was the view of the boats just as we were setting off.
The extra is Sue and Dave relaxing as we rested for a few minutes at one of the little islands. 
It was a lovely evening and we didn’t get wet either from rain or from capsizing!
