Fly orchids

What a disappointing day of weather. The forecast was for an improvement in the afternoon so we set off for Whitbarrow and the butterflies. No luck, it was cold and grey.
However we went on to visit Lynne who took us to see a wonderful bank of Fly Orchids at Arnside Knott in the late sunshine. And gave us cake!
So not too bad in the end.
