Bee good!

A hot May day so what would bees do? Swarm! I thought all had gone well as they seemed to have settled in an empty hive.
However when I checked in the evening they were all milling about and I suspect the queen had been lost somewhere, possibly due to bungling by beekeeper. So I transferred them over to a nucleus I am trying to get started, so they can help build that up.
I fear there may be more happening tomorrow but that would be very inconvenient as I have to make seven large wedding cake sponges!
