Palaces and gardens

What a great day. We went to Scone Palace and it was so lovely. It was fairly quiet so we had a quick wiz around inside then a wander in the amazing gardens. As we were there we thought it would be wrong not to have a scone - and they were lovely. Especially so as we were Theo lay ones sitting in the sunshine in the courtyard!
Then we went on to Faukland Palace, an incredible place with some parts dating back to the 12th century. Apparently this place was a favourite for many of the royals back in the day.
We were going to stop in Dundee on the way home but rain stopped play - it was chucking it down! Instead we stopped at Blairgowrie when the sun was shining again - just had a quick wander there and picked up pizzas for our evening meal.
