Wigan

A splendid walk in the sunshine, in Wigan today. I started at Trencherfield Mill and finished in the, predictably-named, Orwell at Wigan Pier.

But the greatest blipping fun could be had under numerous colourful bridges both in the town and in the reclaimed colliery land nearby.

In fact, for a time, I was set on today's blip being entitled "Was Rothko a Wiganer?" Along the Leeds-Liverpool Canal there were the usual reflections as well as sculptural pieces.

But I chose this image of a brook, cascading down a hillside in Haigh Country Park. Not sure why.
