The Barns

Three Munros for me and Walt today whilst S&T did a Corbett over the other side of the valley. I’d a fab bike in and out to Derry lodge. Weather was on a rinse and repeat cycle of squalls and sunny intervals. Main pic is view to Ben Macdui UKs second highest mountain from the Barns - a series of granite tors that seem like they’ve been transplanted from Dartmoor - the power of geology. It was a long day but great and the moody weather added atmosphere.
