The school run

Today was very variable weather wise, with some heavy rain showers interspersed with warm sunshine.  Luckily it was fine for the school run.  The 'mist' that you can see here is actually steam rising from the road where it is rain soaked and then the sun has come out and quickly heated it.  Fascinating to see and a quick science lesson for Violet too.
In other news: today is our busy day where we have care of Stella-Rose from 7.30am as well as picking up V then later taking her to Brownies.  This evening a special table was laid for the Brownies with treats arranged on union jack serviettes and glass of squash each so that they could make a toast to The Queen.  Violet took her camera so I must check to see whether she took any photos.
