Color Swatches.

Had another quiet sort of day, did a bunch of 'chores' in the house....not my favorite activity :P  didn't feel the urge to do a lot of painting....but wanted to do a color mixing exercise.

Louise Fletcher suggests making these color swatches - she used acrylic so i tried it with oil, but i didn't get too far.....i think i'll try it again tomorrow, using acrylics....easier to mix up and get a variety of colors.   You can then use them to see if a particular color will enhance your painting or completely fuck it up......nice to have that choice :)
