The accidental finding

Not the graduation photo

Clue: If you look closely at the photo frame, it says Millennium Novum. And two-year-olds don't usually graduate, unless it's from pre-nursery.

This is my boasty moment. I don't usually do this, but my nephew N, who is now 23, is graduating this year from Strathclyde uni, has secured a job with a major engineering firm in Glasgow, with opportunities for global travel, in due course. He graduates next month and will start in September. Believe it or not, he's my godchild. However, he was never christened. I dropped him on his head instead, when he was a baby. Clearly it didn't harm him too greatly...

We had a busy day at work. The practice manager came back in for a bit: she was the one who fractured her skull only 3 or 4 weeks ago! She is coming back part time, it seems. The staff bought about ten mini pork pies to celebrate. I guess she likes pork pies. Meanwhile, in our back office, we were busy stuffing ourselves with mint chocolate buttons and other delights. We did get out into town for a meeting, though, and even walked there, which is a big deal for some. Came home and cooked asparagus with goa'ts cheese. Yum yum.
