I do love these flamboyant poppies I would just recommend you think twice before planting them. Be very sure you plant them where you want them to be forever as it is impossible to remove them .  Sadly my colour scheme in this area doesn't need red poppies but no matter how I have tried to remove them they keep coming back.  The colour clash is something I now just have to embrace as they are there to stay. .. and spreading :D
Showery and cool today but I have been productive. This evening we met friends for supper in a local pub.. it was busier than I had hoped it would be but it was great fun and supper was delicious.
