I CYCLED TODAY MORE

than I had intended. When I went through the Uithof Mischa phoned she was near would we meet at the maze (newly trimmed) and cycle back together.
But after lunch we could let us driven to the Hornbach DIY market in Wateringen or cycle to it. We decided to cycle because of the lovely spring weather, although a strong wind blew.
There is a swan pair on a nest with eggs at the foot of the maze that is on a slope.
The swan of the picture on her nest is also in the Uithof but in a small pond near the canal.

My haiku:

In spring the swans sit
Many days waiting the eggs
Warmed by the feathers
