St. Agnes
I'd booked a kayaking session over at St. Agnes for 1 pm - weather was OK sun was shining but the sea looked a little rough - drove all the way over through Red Ruth and past the tin mines - got there at 1 pm, waited and waited but no-one showed - they must have forgotten me - seeing as I had gone all this way I decided to take a walk on the beach and over the rocks - in some areas the rocks seem to bleed a green lustre - must be the Fe or Cu content - it looked pretty cool and reminds you of the Cornish mining heritage
Got back in time for fish and chips with the grandparents down at their favourite "The May Tree" -
Just before going to bed got a very very apologetic phone call from the kayak company - apparently no-one had put me in the diary!! Oh well next time and to be honest, those waves did not make me think I'd be in the kayak for long - could only be karma..
