Beautiful Hilbre Island

What a beautiful day!

We ventured to West Kirby to walk to Hilbre. The tide was right and the weather couldn't have been more perfect!

We saw a colony of about 200 seals - well, we heard them well before we saw them. Sod's law I was being lazy and had left the decent lens in the car....grrr

Lovely visit to Aubergine Cafe before returning home!

Perfect day, perfect company and looking forward to a perfect evening!

PS: I loved the littel line of wind turbines in the distance between the rocks....
