Up in flames

On Thursday this was a large DIY warehouse, with the usual contents, paints, thinners, garden furniture etc. At 6am on Friday the whole building went up in flames (arson is suspected), it took 8 fire engines a good few hours to put the blaze out. It was reported in our local paper today and is now on the tourist route, and its still smoking.

Today is the first day of a hard two weeks, Mum has arrived. She complained last night, having been here 3 hours that there were not enough coat hangers in the wardrobe for her. I'd spent a couple of hours moving my dresses out of the wardrobe, clearing shelves so that she could put her clothes away and generally making space for her, which is more than can be said for when I visit her, as my clothes stay in the suitcase on the floor as there is no wardrobe space for me. She also asked me how I felt now that I am totally grey!! Full of tact!!
