An unexpected gift (EB)
A week or so back I took a set of photographs for the village art group. Partly so they can have a record of how they arranged the display boards and partly for them to use in publicity material. I edited the photos, sent them off and their reaction has been very positive. Today, their chairperson called round to see gill and also to drop off these books they have bought me as a thank you.
Gill and I were at our grandchildren's school this morning to see them performing in their 70 years of music presentation. As part of their marking the Queen's jubilee they chose songs from each of the decades for one or more year groups to perform. Ariadne really did quite enjoy the actions for Rocking all over the World (Status Quo 1980s) James was far from impressed with Valerie (Amy Winehouse 2000s)
Sadly - I can't publish the photographs I took as some of the children should not be shown on social media for all sorts of unfortunate reasons. A sad statement about the modern world?
Thanks to everyone for your kind comments on yesterday's blip from Ledbury, all much appreciated. Ledbury might make a good place for a blipmeet - plenty of good architecture in the town and more than enough coffee shops even for blippers :-)
