At the Jubilee tea party

Henry and Rosie’s nursery served tea and cakes, with a special song the children had learned, and a crown making competition this afternoon. All the children won, and were given a Union Jack flag to take home and a packet of sweets.
This was followed by much running around the field and playing on the playground equipment, and lots of the girls were dressed up.
So, as the children were full of cakes, biscuits and sweets, we weren’t expecting them to eat much dinner, but they polished off sausage and mash followed by strawberries, and fell asleep really fast.
