Children on the swing

My daughter has the most amazing tree at the end of her garden. It is full of wildlife, changes colour through the day, and we find it fascinating to watch the sunlight gradually disappearing up the trunk at around 8pm.
Of course the children only notice the swing which they played on after they came home from nursery. They played outside for a long while as it was sunny and warm, and after tea, bath and story time, went to sleep easily.
