Meet the Rabone and Chesterman Family. Lumix 14mm

Yesterday's excursion into my dad's tool treasure chest, reminded me of these other delights.  They're all from venerable English tool makers, John Rabone and Sons in Birmingham, and James Chesterman & Co. in Sheffield.  In the 1960s, they were forced to merge or go under. I bought the bottom meter rule new about thirty years ago, and this shows the new company logo.
