Bad Ass

No.2 description of the female artist who painted this picture. Atemisia Gentileschi - Judith beheading Holofernes. After wandering through the Uffuzi with so many Botticelli and Caravaggio it was good to see a female artist which must have been unusual in the renaissance period. I’ve googled her and she sounds an interesting ‘kick ass’ lady!

We did more walking today and clocked up another 20,000 steps. Visited the Bell Tower with amazing views over Florence and ended the day in a fabulous roof top bar sipping a cocktail watching the sun go down.
